On the Left Half of the Left Half
August 16, 2012
There is an awesome multi-blog conversation about game and Christianity going at Dalrock’s, UMan, Alpha Game, and Paula Deen’s personal blog. I might have a few blogs wrong. But speaking of butter, I bet these people put margarine in their Cokes.
I probably should have included a trigger warning, but I’m sadistic like that. I wish I had more to say, alas honey boo boo has rendered me mostly speechless. Wow, just wow. It’s “People of Walmart” presented as reality television.

And that’s why the South will never ‘rise again’!
U, why didn’t you tell me your cousins got their own TV show?
Once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it!
That was pretty cool, huh?
I’m sure there are people who are feeling very smug that I admitted to being wrong, but there was some serious work done in the past couple days. I’ll be honest: I couldn’t sleep last night. I need to get an idea for a novel in my head like I did my problem with Game; that I just have to work on.
I do firmly think that there is a difference between Game and what The Private Man called Masculine Charisma. It’s exasperating that the concept of Game–the tools portion, generally, very polluted with nonsense, self-esteem, and The Secret-ism; not to mention conflation with Masculine Charisma itself.
