Word Around the Campfire – the Bona Fide edition

May 16, 2010

On Monday, May 17, the man, the myth, Ferdinand Bardamu returns. I have it on good authority that “sparks will fly and fools will be eviscerated.” Not only should you head over to In Mala Fide, you should also subscribe to the Twitter feed and become a Facebook fan. Though Ferdinand refrained from posting Linkage is Good for You while on vacation, those avenues remained sources of worthwhile reading. Moreover, you don’t even have to wait on Sundays. I’ve included numerous suggestions, sans hat tips as I’m bad with my blog etiquette, in my previous few Word Around the Campfires. I’ve also discovered more than a few worthwhile blogs and sites that will continue to show up. Consider yourself informed.

Thanks very much for the linkage, particularly when it was such a short and self-centred post.

[It included etymology, which is always worthwhile.]

And yes, the salt water appears to have had a good effect. Thanks again.

    Thanks, Ulysses!

    Thanks again, Ulysses.

Many thanks Ulysses. I’m afraid I must double what SD said in that my posts were a bit weak for linkage, but at least the spread around of some good photographic images may be good for some eyes out there. :)

[I spent about a year of my life getting paid to shoot video and currently enjoy photography as a hobby, so I had to link to it. My banner and my gravatar, unlike pretty much everything else I throw up, are pictures I took. If you run the gravatar pic through some high powered FBI type software, you can see what I look like with a camera in front of my face. There's a reflection of yours truly in the ball at the top of the martini spear.]

How cool! Any chance in you being interested in sharing some of your photos? If not, are there any recurring subjects that you find yourself photographing? I am always leaning so I like to study the work of others and post little collections. I search for hours for various references both for work and for pleasure so I started to just make posts of my research.
